Mediation by On-Stage

No cure, no pay. So if we can't find you a suitable internship, then you don't pay anything. So don't hesitate, subscribe yourself!
If we do find you an internship, which is suitable and fun, then you pay for the mediation of On-Stage. The costs of finding and arranging a traineeship are one-time payment of € 550,-. This includes the additional service we provide, being any help in case of a serious problem, picking you up from the airport, accompanying you on your first day at your traineeship, arranging Spanish lessons and finding suitable housing.

Expenses

Some of the traineeships may offer to pay for some expenses. This may consist of travel expenses and/or meals during working hours and/or housing costs. However, the majority will simply offer you a traineeship and invest their time into teaching you something.

Housing

On-Stage can arrange this for you. It can be quite difficult to find suitable and affordable housing by yourself. Most of the internships provide some kind of compensation for your efforts. This can be in the form of providing you (part of) bed and board. If not so we accommodate you in a student house, a quarter or apartment. This may cost somewhere between €165,- en €300,- per month. The actual price will depend on whether you share a room or have a room to yourself and on in which part of Nicaragua you are located. Almost all rooms have their own lavatory and shower and there is always a kitchen you can use.

Spanish course

If you are planning to take up a Spanish course, it is advisable that you stay with a host family. By doing this, you are encouraged to use what you have studied and you will find that you’ll learn the language even quicker. Also, you will have a chance to experience the Nicaraguan culture first hand! Staying with a host family costs around €80,- a week, including meals but excluding the costs of the actual course. The course costs approximately € 125,- a week. These small prices are unique. Almost nowhere in the world you will find such good Spanish classes and host families for this small prices.

On-Stage offers special programmes, varying from a 1- to a 4-week course. On average you will have 4 hours of lesson each day. In the afternoon there is usually an activity which encourages you to use what you have learnt as well as learn more about the Nicaraguan way of life. After thoroughly investigating the local institutes that offer language courses, On-Stage is now working closely with a good quality Spanish school in Granada. We would advise you to stay with a host family whilst studying Spanish, as this encourages you to learn and improve your Spanish skills even faster.
